Know your Enemies

The enemies of fresh coffee are oxygen, moisture, heat, and light.

To ensure you get the very best fresh coffee, correct storage is essential.

For some reason many people store their fresh coffee in the fridge or freezer. This leaves fresh coffee vulnerable to one of its arch-enemies (moisture) and can wreak havoc with the flavours.

So, unless you like your coffee to taste like the inside of a fridge, remember the best fresh coffee storage practice is to seal your fresh coffee in an airtight container and keep it in a cool, dark, dry place.

Stored this way, you'll enjoy fresh coffee for up to three weeks.
